Seville (Spain), 1946. He was born in Seville. His strong training in international centers such as Salzburg, Vienna and Freiburg he inclined to delve into the world of the Lied, the German Romanticism, the French music, as well as the extensive and rich Spanish and Latin American repertoire. He's regarded as an outstanding performer in the current context of chamber music and concert repertoire. Currently, he combines his activities on stage with teaching at the Voice School in Madrid and the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía in the Chair of Voice Alfredo Krauss, next to the chair professor, Tom Krause. He has developed his career in Europe (Vienna, Paris, Rome, London, Madrid, Milan, Lisbon, Zurich, Berlin and Munich) in prestigious venues such as the Teatro alla Scala (Milan), Theatre Champs Elysees (Paris) Academia Santa Cecilia (Rome), Konzerthaus (Vienna and Berlin), Teatro San Carlos (Lisbon) RAI (Naples), etc., as well as in Australia, United States (New York Carneggie Hall, Washington, Israel, Canada, Argentina, Mexico, Brazil and Chile). He has been accompanied by internationally renowned orchestras as the London Symphony, Vienna Symphony, Israel Philharmonic, the Montreal Philharmonic, French National, Spanish National, Virtuosi di Praga and Salzburg Mozarteum. In the same way, was directed by renowned conductors such as Celebidache, Dutoit, Frühbeck de Burgos, Markevitch, Ceccato, Maag, López Cobos, Gómez Martínez and Ros Marbá. In his discography features "Vida Breve" with Deutsche Grammophon and Terlac, "Songs of Joaquín Turina," with Keys, "Spanish songs of the Twentieth Century" or "Sounds of War" by Luis de Pablo to RCA. He's also academician of the Real Academia de Bellas Artes Santa Isabel de Hungría in Seville.
