Inmaculada Veses Gil

Born in Liria (Spain) in 1996. From 2017 to 2020 she studied at the Reina Sofía School of Music’s Oboe Chair with professor Hansjörg Schellenberger. Her Majesty Queen Sofía handed her the Diploma to the most outstanding student of her chair during the 2018-2019 academic year, as well as the Mention to the most outstanding chamber group within the wind ensembles category as part of the O Globo Quintet, which she was awarded once again in 2020 with the Globo Ensemble.
She started her oboe studies in 2004 at the Liria Musical Union, where she obtained the elementary degree. From 2010 to 2012 she completed three oboe courses on Techniques of Improvement and Performance, conducted by Francisco Salanova. In 2012 she participated in the oboe course “Quincena Musical Manuel Enguidanos” of the Liria Musical Union, conducted by Ali Groen. She also attended the Union’s School of Improvement under the guidance of Jesús Fuster and studied third year of oboe at the Joaquín Rodrigo Conservatory in Valencia with Vicente Llimerá. Additionally, she has attended masterclasses by Jonathan Kelly, Sabine Meyer, and Reiner Wehle. In 2012 she was awarded first prize in the woodwind category at the 4th Young Performers Competition of Rotglá i Corbera. In 2014 she won the Professional Prize of oboe end-of-degree. In 2015 she collaborated with the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Vallés and the Youth Symphony Band of the Musical Societies’ Federation of the Valencian Community.
As a student of the School, she has been a member of the Freixenet Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Andrés Orozco-Estrada, Víctor Pablo Pérez, Plácido Domingo, and András Schiff, and that of the Sinfonietta under the baton of Jorge Rotter and Johannes Kalitzke. She has also been part of the Fundación Mutua Madrileña Ensemble. Since 2019, she is a member of the Globo Ensemble at Madrid’s International Institute of Chamber Music.
