Bienzobas Sánchez, Lucas

He was born in Madrid (Spain) in 1994. He began studying violin at age three. Later, he studied under Professor Olga Vilkomirskaya until 2009. In 2007, 2008 and 2009 he studied at the International School of Music Presjovem Lucena City, where he studied violin with professors as Gordan Nikolitch and James Buswell, among others, and chamber music with teachers like Ana Comesaña, Daniel del Pino and David Quiggle. In 2010 he completed his professional degree studies at the Professional Conservatory of Music Federico Moreno Torroba, where he received the Special Prize End-of degree to the specialty in violin and Honors in chamber music and orchestra. That same year he prepared his entrance exams to the School of Music Reina Sofía with Professor Alfredo Garcia. Since the 2010-2011 academic year is a student of this school, in the Chair of Violin with Head Professor Ana Chumachenko. Enjoys a Tuition Scholarship of the Ministry of Education of the Community of Madrid and the Albéniz Foundation. In May 2008 he won the Second Prize at the Sixth International Competition for Violin "Violins for Peace". That same year he joined to the Youth Orchestra and Choir of the Community of Madrid, which until 2010 was concertmaster with conductors such as Miguel Romea and Óscar Geherson. He has also played with Iuventas Orchestra and has participated in the First International Festival Presjovem as concertmaster-conductos with the Presjovem Orchestra. As a student of the School, is part of the Freixenet Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Antoni Ros Marbà.
