Amber Quartet

Amber Quartet

Amber Quartet was formed in 2005 at Central Conservatory of music in China. They began to display their talent in the 2007 International chamber music master class. From 2013, the Amber quartet studies into the Institute International de Música de Cámara de Madrid with professor Günter Pichler. The quartet won the silver award of the 1st National Golden Bell Quartet Competition, the first prize of 2nd CCOM chamber music competition. Recent performances have included world premieres of the works Suite of the High Hill by Si-Cong Ma,and Song of Tree by Mikko Heini. In Asia-Pacific Chamber Music Competition,every four years Competition in Melbourne, the Amber Quartet was won the Grand Prize,the first prize of string quartet and the Hamer-Tribe Trust Prize in 2013. The ensemble has undertaken international tours in countries such as England, Australia, America, Japan and Denmark.
