Born in Sofia (Bulgaria) in 1985. Born into a family of musicians, began playing the violin at five. She studied at the National School of Music in Sofia in 2004 and later completed his degree at the National Music Academy in Sofia. In 2010 she earned a Masters in the New Bulgarian University in Sofia, with Professor Mario Hossen. Since 2010 she is a student of the International Institute of Chamber Music in Madrid, where studied with the Arts Quartet in the String Department with Professor Günter Pichler, Head of the Department.

Kavalova, Petya

Kavalova, Petya

Born in Plovdiv (Bulgaria) in 1984. She received classes at the School of Music in Plovdiv, where studied until 2003. In 2007 she completed her degree at the Academy of Music in Sofia, where received classes of Professor Ognyan Stanchev. She has also attended master classes with Wolfgang Kloss in Austria, Vienna. Since the 2010-2011 academic year is a student of the International Institute of Chamber Music in Madrid, where studies alongside the Art Quartet in the String Department with Professor Günter Pichler, Head of the Department. She is a member of the Symphony Orchestra Freixenet, conducted by Víctor Pablo Pérez.

She has played in master classes with world famous musicians such as Prof. Yang Chang Cho (Germany), Prof. Robert Cohen (England), she has also played concerts as a soloist with the Orchestral Chamber Orchestra, the Collegiums Musical Chamber Orchestra, and the Junior Philharmonic Orchestra of Sofia City. Marina is a winner of numerous prestigious awards from national and international competitions and she also is honored with a Peace Messenger diploma by the United Nations. Currently, she studies at the National Academy of Music under the mentorship of Prof. B. Karakonov, Prof. A. Stankov, and Prof. A. Krastev, while working at the Bulgarian National Radio Orchestra at the same time.

Cuarteto Arte (10-12)

Arte Quartet, formed in 2010 in the International Institute of Chamber Music in Madrid, receiving classes of Günter Pichler, Head of String Quartets Department. The group is composed of four young Bulgarian musicians, Rositsa Chopeva (1985), Desislava Karamfilova (1985), Petya Kavalova (1985) y Marina Hinova (1985), who have finished their studies at the National Music Academy in Sofia and the New Bulgarian University (Bulgaria). They have attended several master classes such as Orpheus Summer Academy in Vienna, among others. The quartet debuted on October 15, 2010 in Da Camera Concert Series at Auditorium Sony in Madrid, where also performed on 2011.
