He was born in Tashkent (Uzbekistan) in 1996. He received his first piano lessons at the age of 6 at the Uspensky Institute of Music by Tamara Popovich and already one year later, he won the First Prize at the International Russian Music Piano Competition in San José (California). That was the beginning of the long list of Prizes and Awards he received, among them the First Prize and a Special Prize at the Mozart Competition in Rome 2007 and a distinguished opportunity to conduct the Moscow Virtuosi at the Vladimir Spivakov Festival. In 2009 Nuron received the Second Prize at the International Franz Liszt Competition in Weimar. He received full scholarships from The Purcell School, The North London Piano School and The Guildhall School of which he chose the Purcell School and studied there in London from 2007 to 2010. From 2010, Nuron Mukumi is a student of the Meisterklasse Lev Natochenny at the Hochschule für Musik in Frankfurt am Main, since then he gave his solo debut at the Klavier Festival Ruhr in 2014 and performed at the Weilburger Schlosskonzerte, Alte Oper, HR Sendesaal, Bad Homburger Schlosskonzerte etc., as well as with National Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan, The Symphony Orchestra of Romania and The Moscow Virtuosi.
