Kleinman, Asaf

He was born in Beer-Sheva (Israel) in 1986. He studied at the School of Music Buchmann-Mehta of the University of Tel-Aviv (Israel), under the tutelage of Professor Emanuel Krasovsky. He's a student of the School of Music Reina Sofía since 2010-2011 academic year, in the Fundación Banco Santander Piano Chair with Head Professor Dimitri Bashkirov. Enjoys a Tuition Scholarship Albéniz Foundation and Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation - Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (MAEC-AECID)and a Residence Scholarship MAEC-AECID. He has participated in master classes with professors such as Dimitri Bashkirov, Ferenc Rados, Claude Frank, Pamela Frank, Homero Francesh and Menahem Pressler. He won the first prize in competitions such as "Lions Israel Musical Competition for Piano" or Piano Competition of Bucharest Lions European Musical, the Award for Young Artists Competition of Jerusalem "Voice of Music" or the Competitions Aviv in Israel. His performances in several European countries as solo led to work with the Rishon Lezion Symphony Orchestra, the Israel Chamber Orchestra, the Israel Sinfonietta Beer-Sheva or with conductors as Vag Papian or Menahem Nebenhaus, among others. He has also participated in festivals in Israel, in the musical Kremlin in Moscow, in the IMS Prussia Cove (England) or the International Music Festival of Summer Suolahti's (Finland). As a student of the School, was part of Kreutzer Duo, with Professor Márta Gulyás.
