Bogdanova, Polina

Polina Bogdanova was born in 1986 in St. Petersburg where she studied at the Music College for highly talented children. Her competition successes include Second Prize at the International Piano Competition in Paris (2004), Second Prize at the Rachmaninoff Competition in Morcone, Italy (2007); Fifth Prize at the A.M.A. Calabria Competition (2008), and third prizes at the Thailand Piano Competition (2008), BPSE Beethoven Competition in London (2009) and in the Robert William and Florence Amy Brant Competition in Birmingham (2010). Polina graduated with distinction from the Saint-Petersburg Conservatory and also from the Royal Northern College of Music (UK) where she obtained the Master Music degree. In 2011 she was accepted in the piano section of the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel.
