She was born in Pasvalyje (Lithuania) in 1991. Morta undertook piano training with Professor Hamish Milne at the Royal Academy of Music in London. Winner of numerous national and international competitions, she has performed in concerts which were broadcast live in 40 countries via the classical music channel "Mezzo". She has also performed as a soloist and chamber musician in venues such as the Wigmore Hall and St. John's Smith Square in London and the Azerbaijan State Philharmonic in Baku amongst others. She has also played with, for example, the Lithuanian, Georgia and Azerbaijan State Chamber orchestras. Since the 2014-2015 academic year she is a student of the Reina Sofía School of Music in the Fundación Banco Santander Piano Department with Head Professor Dmitri Bashkirov. She enjoys a Yamaha Pianos tuition scholarship and a Fundación Albéniz accommodation scholarship. As a student of the Reina Sofía School she is a member of Grupo Cosan, under professor Márta Gulyás, and of Grupo Voces Tempo de Fundación Orange.

Erben, Valentín

Valentin Erben (born 1945) is an Austrian cellist. He studied with Walter Reichardt in Munich, Tobias Kühne in Vienna and André Navarra in Paris. In 1970, he became a charter member of the Alban Berg Quartet. He has taught cello at the Wiener Musikhochschule since 1972.
