Christian Danowicz was born in 1983 in Buenos Aires in Argentina and moved at the age of four with his family to France. His father, Enrique Danowicz, violinist and educator, was his first violin teacher.
He is a graduate from the Conservatory in Toulouse (diploma with remark for excellence) in the class of Prof. Gilles Colliard. He is graduated in the violin class of Prof. Julia Jakimowicz-Jakowicz and Prof. Krzysztof Jakowicz (graduate year) and studying in the 3rd year of conducting class with Prof. Antoni Wit, both at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw.
Christian Danowicz is a laureate of the Tadeusz Wroñski International Solo Violin Competition in Warsaw in 2009 (3rd prize) where he also achieved a Special Prize for the most interesting artistic individuality. He was also nominated as the best student of the UMFC.
Christian Danowicz is currently a concertmaster of the Wroc³aw Chamber Orchestra LEOPOLDINUM.
This young artist was performing in Germany, France, Switzerland, Italy, Ukraine, Lithuania and Poland (with Plock Symphonic Orchestra, Koszalin Philharmonic and Warsaw National Philharmonic Orchestra). As a participant of violin courses he worked with many masters like M.Vengerov, R. Ricci, E. Friedman, I. Gitlis, T. Tomaszewski, I. Frolov, E. Zienkowski, M. Jaszwili and T. Papavrami.
He is a initiator and organizer of the "Musique au Leman" festival in Thonon in France. Prestigious artists from Poland and France like f.ex. Szymanowski Quartet and European Fine Arts Trio, are hosted in Thonon each year. He himself performs at this festival as soloist, chamber musician, concertmaster and conductor.
