Cândida Nunes (Paredes, 1994) started her musical studies at Artave, in 2006, with professor Pedro Silva and later with Lurdes Carneiro. In 2012, she started her Bachelor at ESMAE in Porto with professor Pedro Silva. She was admitted, in 2015, at Zürcher Hochschule der Künste (Zurich) in class of professor Giorgio Mandolesi. She did masterclasses with Lydon Watts, Günter Pfitzenmaier, Steve Harriswangler, Pierre Martens, Roberto Giaccaglia, Rui Lopes, Marc Trénel, Afonso Venturieri, Giorgio Mandolesi, Marco Postinghel, Stefano Canuti and Carlo Colombo. Cândida integrated the Orquestras Artave, Aproarte, Sinfónica da Esmae, Orquestra sub-21 Capital Europeia da Cultura - Guimaraes 2012, Estágio Gulbenkian para Orquestra and Orchester der Zürcher Hochschule der Künste ZhdK. She collaborated with the Banda Sinfónica Portuguesa, Camerata Nov'Art, Camerata Nov'Norte, Orquestra de Jovens de Santa Maria da Feira, Orquestra de Guimarães, Orquestra XXI and Orquestra Fundaçao Calouste Gulbenkian. Also participated in Encuentro de Música y Academia de Santander 2015. Worked with conductors as Pedro Neves, Luís Machado, Ernest Schelle, Colin Metters, Christophe Millet, Emílio de César, Vitor Matos, Francisco Ferreira, Paulo Martins, Luís Carvalho, Paul McCreesh, Joana Carneiro, Jan Wierzba, Robert Ziegler, António Saiote, Péter Csaba, Werner Ehrhardt and Christian Zacharias. She was awarded in some national competitions like "Concurso Internacional de Instrumentos de Sopro de Terras de la Salette" and "Concurso de Sopros do Alto Minho". Presently, Cândida frequents the Master in Performance at Zürcher Hochschule der Künste (Zurich) with professor Giorgio Mandolesi. She is a founder member of the camera groups Éclatant Ensemble and Clas5ic Wind Quintet.

He studied for his Bachelor's degree with Professors Boaz Meirovitch and Yossi Arenheim at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. He is currently studying at the University of Arts in Berlin in the class of Professor Roswitha Staege. In the season of 2012-2013 he was a member of the Israeli Symphony Orchestra as assistant principal flute. He frequently plays with orchestras such as the Israel Philharmonic, The Israeli Camerata and The Israeli Symphony Orchestra. In Germany, he plays with the Thuringer Symphoniker, New Chamber Orchestra Potsdam, Magdeburg Philharmonie and Jena Philharmonie. From September 2015, he will take part in the International Ensemble Modern Academy, based in Frankfurt am Maim.

Makstutis, Antanas

He started his studies with Vitalius Zemaitis at Juozas Naujalis Academy in his hometown. He is currently studying at the Royal Academy of Music in London with Professors Van der Wiel, Chi-Yu Mo and Ben Slimane. He has been awarded with the Gratitude Diploma from the President of Lithuania. He regularly performs with his younger brothers and with the Canorum Trio. He has performed at the Royal Festival Hall and the Ashmolean Musem in conjunction with the London Sinfonietta, the Nash Ensemble and the Orchestra of St. John's. He has been principal clarinet in Royal Academy of Music symphony orchestras.

Schellenberger, Hansjörg

Hansjörg Schellenberger won first prize at the German Jugend Musiziert Competition, which led to a holarship enabling him to further his education at Interlochen (Michigan, United States). He continued his studies in Munich with Manfred Clement and attended master classes with Heinz Holliger. During this period he took part in numerous concerts, many of them dedicated to contemporary music, and obtained first prizes in several international competitions; among them, the ARD in Munich. In the seventies he was soloist of the Cologne Radio Orchestra and from 1980-2001 of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. Between 1980 and 2001 he has played under conductors such as Carlo Maria Giulini, Zubin Mehta, Riccardo Muti and Claudio Abbado, among others. He has dedicated a great part of his artistic activity to chamber music with groups such as the Wind Ensemble of the Berlin Philharmonic and the Vienna-Berlin Ensemble. In 1991 Shellenberger founded the Berliner-Hadyn-Konzerte cycle, which he continues to conduct himself. He has recorded Beethoven's and Mozart's Piano and Wind Quintets and Poulanc's Trio for piano, oboe and bassoon with J. Levine and M. Turkovik. Between 1981 and 1991 he taught at the Berlin Music Academy. He has also been Guest Professor at the Chigiana Academy in Siena, Italy. Since the 2000-2001 academic year Hansjörg Schellenberger is Head Professor of the Oboe Chair, sponsored by Repsol YPF, at the Reina Sofía School of Music. He is at present Profesor/Department Head, Wind Quintets, of the international Institute of Chamber Music of Madrid.

She started her musical studies at the age of 6. She joined the class of Myriam Graulus at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent in 2009. She is in the class of Carlos Bruneel at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels since 2012. She has won several awards, including the First Prize of Dexia Classics competition in 2008. She has taken part in numerous master classes with Fabrizio Cassol, Michael Schmid, Toon Fret, Emmanuel Pahud, Mario Caroli and Juliette Hurel. She regularly performs with various ensembles like EUYO, La Monnaie Chamber Music Ensemble, and Hulencourt Soloist Chamber Orchestra.

He began studying the bassoon at the age of eleven. Graduating from the Conservatory of Music "O. Respighi" in Latina in the class of Marco Dionette, he attended courses of Musical Interpretation and master classes taught by Francesco Bossone, Gabriele Screpis and Giorgio Mandolesi. He is currently attending the masterclass held by Francesco Bossone at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome. As a soloist, he won the 1st prize at the 3rd Crescendo Music Competition Award 2012 "City of Florence" and the 1st Prize at the 12th International Music Competition "Città di Chieri" 2012. Recently he was the winner of the 2013 National Auditions held by Gioventù Musicale d'Italia. He was the principal basson of the "Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia" JuniOrchestra with whom he performed at Parco della Musica in Rome, Auditorium della Conciliazione, Sala Nervi, during the "Festival of Two Worlds" in Spoleto, the "Ravello Festival" and at the Quirinal Palace during the "Festa Tricolore" in the context of the 150th Anniversary of the Unification of Italy. He revealed, in addition, his interest in composing quite soon. He has composed "Il Vento del Mare" for symphonic orchestra and "Rapsodia Sinfonica" performed in the summer of 2011 by an Ensemble of the JuniOrchestra at Summer Concerts of Villa Guariglia in Vietri. He participated in the Youth Festival concert seasons of Festival Giovanile Biellese, Gioventù Musicale d'Italia, Associazione Umbria Classica, Festival Pontino di Musica, "D'Annunzio" Theatre of Latina, Festival "Music in Jeans" in Naples, Associazione Mozart Italia, Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome, Mantua Chamber Orchestra, Teatro Dal Verme in Milan. He has performed as soloist with the "Orchestra Mediterranea ICOM" in the festival "Enfant Prodige in Music 2013" in Monopoli. He performs frequently with his brother Richard, flutist (1999). Recently they were invited to play together in the TV-program "Saremo Famosi" live on RAI2.

He initially studied with Professor Kwang-ho Oh at the Korean National University of Arts. After receiving his Masters’ degree he was accepted to the postgraduate studies at the Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber (Dresden), where he currently studies with Professor Joachim Klemm. He has won first prizes in several competitions, such as the Korea Clarinet Society Competition 2011. He has been active as a soloist and a chamber musician and has appeared on different festivals, such as Crescendo Festival and Jour Fixe. He has also composed works for different ensembles.

Seidman, Elliot

He studies at the Royal Academy of Music (London) with Richard Watkins, Martin Owen, Katy Woolley and Michael Thompson, as well as natural horn with Roger Montgomery. He performed with numerous youth orchestras in the USA and he now plays principal horn with the Royal Academy of Music Symphony and Concert Orchestras, working with Robin Ticciati and Jac van Steen. Also an active chamber musician, he has performed with various ensembles. His woodwind quintet was the 2014 recipient of the Nicholas Blake Woodwind Prize. Occasionally he plays with the Royal Academy of Music Baroque Orchestra.

He started to pursue horn studies at the age of twelve. After primary school he attended Béla Bartók Conservatory of Budapest. He studies at the Ferenc Liszt Academy (Budapest) with Imre Magyari and Chamber Music with Balázs Fülei, piano soloist of Hungary’s National Philharmonic. He has participated in the International Zoltán Kodály Youth Orchestra, directed by Tamás Vásáry, and he is a regular assistant hornist of the Orchestra of the Hungarian National Opera House. He has taken part in master classes by Miklos Nagy, Peter Keseru, Luca Benucci, Szabolcs Zempleni, David Johnson, Loris Antiga and Alessio Allegrini.

She started learning music at Péczely Attila School at the age of 8. From 2007 to 2011, she studied at István Vántus Music High School with Professor Györgyi Tóth. She has studied at Ferenc Liszt Academy since 2011 with Professors Emília Csánky, Fruzsina Káli-Fonyódi, Lajos Lencsés, Gábor Dienes and Béla Horváth. She received her Bachelor’s Degree diploma with highest honours in 2014. She is now pursuing a Masters at the same academy. She has taken part in master classes by Lajos Lencsés and József Kiss. She won the First Prize in the National Oboe Competition in 2009.
